Design notes: A silhouette inspired by the traditional blouse garments worn by the women of the indigenous, nomadic Rabari tribe of North-west India, the Roop Rabari Blouse is an evolution of our Rabari Blouse with drawstrings at the cuffs to ruche the sleeves up. The blouse is hand pleated at the neckline and the chest panel is double layered and therefore has no transparency.

Textile notes: This airy cotton and silk blend goes by the name of ‘Neem Reshmi’. It’s slightly sheer with a subtle uneven visual texture alluding to it’s hand crafted origin. Woven in the royal handloom weaving town of Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh; a place where you walk the winding streets to the rhythmic sound of ‘clacking’ looms.
